Two is More Than Four!
The innovative design of the MTG18A delivers performance equal to current four-wire magnetic flowmeters.
Yamatake released the world's first Two-wire loop powered magnetic Flowmeter in 1992. Now they have taken the experience gained with the SMT3000 and developed the most innovative two-wire magnetic flow meter on the market. Introducing the MagneW Two-wire PLUS, delivering four-wire functionality with two-wire simplicity.
The major advantage of two-wire magnetic flowmeter technology is that it provides the end-user with a lower cost of ownership. Not only can the cost of the electrical installation be more economical, but it can be simpler and easier to backup in the event of a power outage. In addition, replacement of existing two-wire and four-wire flowmeters can be implemented with little electrical work.
The MagneW Two-wire PLUS offers:
- Integral and Remote designs for installation flexibility (exclusively from Yamatake)
- Wafer detector design (exclusively from Yamatake)
- Broadest size range (0.1" to 8.0") for better application coverage
- DE and HART® capability to satisfy your communications requirements
- A unique electrode design that resists particle build for increased up-time and reduced maintenance costs
- Unique excitation method provides improved response time for fast applications and reduces noise susceptibility
The MagneW Two-wire PLUS is ideal for:
- New installations in a new facility or expansion project where the cost savings of two-wire design will have fast payback over traditional four-wire magnetic flowmeters.
- Re-instrumentation projects where existing wiring lends itself to the two-design. You can get improved flow measurement accuracy over existing technologies.
- Replacement of existing competitive two-wire magnetic flowmeters. You may be dissatisfied with the performance you are getting from your current flowmeters. The MagneW Two-wire PLUS address past problems and delivers "four-wire" performance and functionality.
