The MagneW 3000 PLUS Electromagnetic Flowmeter Series offers high performance and high reliability. MagneW flowmeters are available in sizes from 0.1 to 44 inch (2.5 to 1100 mm) diameter, and in both integral and remote types.
The MagneW Converter features a large backlit LCD that simultaneously displays percent flow rate (%), actual flow rate (eg, GPM) and totalized value.
One-touch infrared sensors enable you to configure the device without opening the converter cover - saving time and protecting the electronics from potentially harsh environments.
Converter models are avialable in HART, DE and FOUNDATION Fieldbus communication protocols.
Mirror Smooth PFA Liner
Yamatake's patented manufacturing process yields a PFA liner with a mirror smooth finish that significantly reduces scaling. The result is reduced downtime and lower maintenance costs. The embedded stainless steel reinforcement offers proven performance advantages in conditions such as rapid thermal change or vacuum conditions.
Other liner materials available for the MagneW 3000 PLUS Detectors include ETFE, Ceramic, and Polyurethane and Chloroprene rubber. These alternate materials offer higher durability in more abrasive applications.

MagneW 3000 Plus HENRI
For decades the pulp and paper industry has had to deal with erratic and unreliable outputs from flow measurements of high consistency pulp stock. The unique characteristics of pulp stock have taxed the capabilities of traditional pulsed DC magnetic flowmeters. Yamatake has developed a noise-resistant magnetic flowmeter that combines the zero stability of pulsed DC with the noise immunity of AC driven magmeters.
A high excitation frequency is only part of the solution to pulp stock flow measurement. By optimizing the coil core design, coil turns, excitation frequency and excitation current Yamatake's MagneW 3000 PLUS HENRI Magnetic Flowmeter provides reliable and repeatable performance for all high consistency stock flow measurements. The MagneW 3000 PLUS Open Channel Flowmeter
The MagneW 3000 PLUS Open Channel Flowmeter is designed for both open channel and closed channel flow measurement. In open channel measurements the MagneW provides accurate flow measurement even at minimal flow rates and is not effected by tidal levels or hydrostatic pressure changes.
The detector is obstruction-less and has no moving parts resulting trouble-free operation and reduced maintenance costs.
Unlike other open channel flowmeter designs the MagneW provides an output that is linear with the flow rate.
